Bendr Social Terms of Use

Bendr Social is intended only for people 18 years of age or older. By using it, you confirm you are at least 18.

Bendr Social is a social night-out planner: a group of friends plans a route of stops and runs it together in real time, with a shared map, check-ins, photos, and a recap. Bendr Social is a planning and coordination tool — it does not organize, host, endorse, or take responsibility for any event, venue, or activity you choose to attend.

You sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In and choose a username and avatar. You are responsible for activity on your account and for the content you create. Keep your account secure and don't impersonate anyone or misrepresent who you are.

You keep ownership of the content you create in Bendr Social (crawl titles, stop names, photos, messages, ratings). By posting it, you grant us a limited license to store and display it to the people you share it with, so the app can function.

You agree not to use Bendr Social to:

• Post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or that depicts or endangers minors
• Harass, stalk, threaten, or harm another person
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Share another person's private information without their consent
• Spam, scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior. You can report content or block another user at any time from within the app. We may review reports and remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

During a live crawl, your location is shared with the other members of that crawl so everyone can see each other on the map and confirm check-ins. Sharing starts when the crawl goes live and stops automatically when it ends. Your location is never shared outside a live crawl. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is part of these Terms.

You are responsible for your own safety and choices. Bendr Social does not verify venues, plan transportation, or supervise your night. Always follow the law, drink responsibly if you choose to drink, arrange safe transportation, and look out for yourself and your friends. You use Bendr Social and attend any stop or activity at your own risk.

Bendr Social is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that map, venue, or location data will be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bendr Social and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss, or harm arising out of your use of the app or your attendance at any stop, venue, or activity. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

You can stop using Bendr Social and delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate these Terms or to protect the app and its users.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use Bendr Social after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
