Bendr Social is how a group of friends plans a route of stops and runs the night together — in real time.
No scattered group chats. No "what's the next spot again?"
Search for spots or tap the map to drop a pin. Reorder stops, add a co-host, and save the plan.
Share a link so friends can see the route and join, and RSVP so you know who's coming.
See everyone on a shared map, check in when you catch up with the group, snap photos, and keep the crew moving.
End the night with a recap: your route, a photo grid, a leaderboard, and a shareable summary.
Your location is shared with your crew only while a night is live — and it stops the moment the night ends. Never before, never after, never with anyone outside your group. No ads, no selling your data.
Bendr Social was built in Washington, DC by two George Washington University graduates to make planning a night out with friends simple. Bendr Social is currently in beta with 30 testers, ahead of its Apple App Store launch.
The short answers.
Bendr Social is an iPhone app for planning a night out with friends. A host builds a route of stops and shares one invite link. On the night, the group follows the route together on a live map, checks in when they meet up, and adds photos. Afterwards, everyone gets a recap with the route, the photos, and a leaderboard.
Groups of friends aged 18 and over planning a night out together, whether it's a birthday, a reunion, or just a Saturday.
No. Your location is shared with your group only while a night is live, and it stops automatically when the host ends it. While it's on, iOS shows its blue location indicator so you can always tell. You can turn sharing off for any night and stay in the group. You just won't see others on the live map either, because the map works both ways.
Only the people in that night's group. Bendr Social is invite-only: there's no public profile, no public directory, and no way for strangers to find you. Photos you add are visible to the other members of that night.
Yes. Anyone who wants to join the route, appear on the map, or add photos needs Bendr Social on their iPhone. Friends who don't have it yet can still open your invite link and see what they're being invited to.
Not yet. Bendr Social is iPhone-only for now while we focus on getting the experience right.
